In depth

Verdict

AON SCEAL was racing on fast ground over the minimum trip for the first time when runner-up to Old Theatre Royal at Ballinrobe where he attempted to make all. He appeared to be feeling the going after the last and these conditions can enable him to gain his first success. Hassanali has been running well on the Flat but it's a long time since he gained his only success over timber and he looks a little high in the weights, a remark that also applies to Vinnes Friend, whose only victory over hurdles came from a 16lb lower mark. About The House has produced one decent run in his three starts in maidens and makes his handicap bow while Lady Chatterbox appeared to be feeling the effects of her earlier fall when tailed off at Cork last month.
