Verdict

ROBIN DE ROOST has really found his form and has had just six starts over fences, completing a double at Punchestown and Wexford. This is tougher from 5lb higher but it will be a surprise if he's not in the firing-line again. The Winkler looked a smart prospect early last year and though he's lost his way recently it would be no shock if he bounced back here. Jack Slade was the easy winner of a beginners' event at Downpatrick and his latest run was over hurdles so he could be reasonably treated off a mark of 112. Tisamystery won at this fixture a couple of years ago and is always capable of a big run at this level. He was having his first start since November when unseating his rider at the last at Kilbeggan last month and should be better for the run.
