Verdict

None of these have been pulling up trees but The Quantum Kid was only beaten a neck when second at Plumpton last month and LUCYS GIRL won a little race at Fontwell in August. She didn't run badly on a return visit to the Sussex track last time and is just preferred to Torran Sound, who hasn't won for a long time but does have form at a higher level and will enjoy this stiff track. Gilded Age doesn't look the force of old and the others have a lot to prove on recent form.
