Verdict

Black Collar, Sunley Shines and Vertical Bloom are three against the field in this competitive opener and the vote is given to Black Collar. The selection was a fair sort between the flags and although disappointing on her last run under rules. This looks her easier task to date and under conditions that suit she looks the value bet in an open affair. Vertical Bloom rates the main danger on her latest third behind Viciana, she is sure to have come on for the run and will not be far away. Sunley Shines is another that could go well as she won a bumper in good style when last seen. However her stable are going through a quiet spell and for that reason she is opposed. Noune De La Thinte hails from a yard in top form and has shown plenty of ability in two runs to date but the suspicion is she will be seen to better effect over this longer tripOf the remainder Isitloveyourafter is another from a yard in form and is sure to have learnt from his debut but in a race where the market will be very informative for the winner we return to Black Collar.
