Verdict

Timmy Murphy would probably prefer to be plying his trade at Newbury than slogging around Towcester but GREAT ENDEAVOUR should at least be able to provide him with a little cheer. Any Currency could make life difficult with Thetwincamdrift probably best of the remainder. The Pipe gelding won't find life easy under a double penalty but he is a promising individual who may prove up to the task. The form of his win at Southwell doesn't set the pulse racing but the race he won at Uttoxeter under a penalty appeared to be a decent contest and he could be an above average performer. Any Currency is held in high regard by his yard and ran a fine race behind a Ditcheat inmate at Chepstow in a race where the first three pulled a long way clear. He's progressing along the right lines and may provide a little in the way of value against the selection given that he hails from a less fashionable yard. Thetwincamdrift was motoring along nicely in that same race at Chepstow until taking a tumble three from home; providing that he's none the worse for the fall, he looks sure to take a hand in the finish for a yard that boasts a fine strike rate at the track. They are the three likeliest winners but Blazing Diva, Midnight Haze, Cold Harbour and Ballymorn are amongst those who may be able to build on their achievements to date. Some interesting sorts here but Great Endeavour is taken to come out on top.
