In depth

Verdict

Bulls And Mortar gained his only victory in 17 starts over fences over this C&D in April but is now 10lb higher. Mr Bones is 18lb lower than his hurdles mark though he lacks the experience for a tough event such as this while UK import Wizards Dust has shown nothing so far for new connections. Rossbeigh has now gone 25 starts over fences without winning while useful point-to-pointer Carlanstown does best with plenty of give in the ground. HIGH TALK was having only his third start over fences when a good fourth to Mr Springer on fast ground at Downpatrick. He scored in similar conditions over hurdles there a year ago and can take this with the ground in his favour.
