In depth

Verdict

PADDY O DEE is a chaser and made all for a facile victory at the Galway Fesival. He arrives here on a 22lb lower mark than over fences and with his young rider claiming 5lb looks very well handicapped. Miradane likes plenty of give in the ground as he showed when scoring at Ballinrobe for the second time in less than a month. He's up another 5lb but he's on the upgrade and it will be a surprise if he's not there at the finish. Royal Choice has been chasing but her last success was over timber and she has run well here in the past. Morning Ireland has been racing in better company since his Clonmel maiden victory and doesn't look too badly treated.
