In depth

Verdict

This looks very competitive with Cecil Corbett and Garrai Phaidin separated by a neck at Downpatrick and the runner-up just slightly better off at the weights. Half of the line-up are course and distance winners including SIR JACK YEATS, who won at the fixture a year ago and has scored twice subsequently. He couldn't quite manage to hold on in a better race at Galway earlier this month and this looks his chance to get back to winning ways. Presenting Julio is another winner over the track and trip and he's much better handicapped than over fences so it will be a surprise if he's not thereabouts at the finish.
