Verdict

BENETWOOD is dropped into selling company for the first time and is thought good enough to win, while both Iffy and Lord Baskerville are more than capable on their day and are worthy of respect. The selection has won four times in total and earned himself a mark of 128 at his peak. He finished second to Simply Blue at Wincanton on his penultimate run back in March but pulled up at Perth on his last outing. He comes into this race with no penalty to carry and is well in at the weights so he is difficult to oppose. Iffy is another horse that was rated as high as 121 over hurdles before his form started to dwindle. He had performed well in novice chases this winter for Richard Lee and cannot be dismissed lightly now running in a selling hurdle for the first time. Lord Baskerville was a decent handicap hurdler on his day winning five times and earning himself a career high mark of 127. Again he runs in a seller for the first after finding life tough off his current rating so he is another to note in the betting market. As sellers go this is as good as it gets but Benetwood looks the form pick and with Tony McCoy booked he is the preferred pick.
