Verdict

LAMBORO LAD ran well on his racecourse debut and is taken to improve to win at the second time of asking, while Quetzal and Shadow Dancer are both likely dangers. The selection finished fourth of thirteen at Aintree behind Bold Addition. This race will be far less competitive and if showing further improvement he will be difficult to beat. Debutant Quetzal comes from a yard that have a great strike rate in these types of races and the market will be the best guide to his chances. Shadow Dancer makes the journey over from Ireland and has the services of Tony McCoy which can only be a positive booking, while Yander ran well enough on his debut at a big price and is sure to improve so is another to note but Lamboro Lad has the ability to win this if building on the form of his debut.
