In depth

Verdict

Sue Smith has her horses running well at present and FOR A DANCER is selected to gain an overdue success for the Yorkshire trainer. Ruby Valentine and Titfer are capable of improvement and may be worth noting for place money, while Nothingbuthetruth was unlucky not to get his head in front last time out and he looks sure to make another bold bid today. The last named has a stiff test under the terms of the race, though. Diktatorship may be better known as a stalwart of the all-weather tracks. But he has made the frame over timber and is no forlorn hope in a weak contest like this. However, For A Dancer is a likeable type and, as his best days are ahead of him; this son of Unfuwain gets the nomination as the one to side with today.
