Chac Du Cadran was quite impressive in landing a Towcester novices' hurdle last month and has scope for further improvement. Stormhoek was a promising sort in his younger days but was well beaten over fences at Ffos Las after a lay-off while Amore Mio disappointed at Kempton last time. Nemetan could be interesting off a low weight, however, while Pheidias has plenty of stamina though is still a maiden over hurdles. Thehillofuisneach has a penalty for his win at Huntingdon but is heading in the right direction and can't be ignored, though now has to give a pound to THEOLOGIST. We'll give Richard Newland's five-year-old another chance here as he looked all over the winner at Doncaster last week until losing his momentum when blundering two out. A strong traveller, he was still only beaten half-a-length and the promising Jack Quinlan claims 5lb today.
