In depth

Verdict

A very interesting novices' hurdle featuring a number of runners who have shown promise in either bumpers or point-to-points. Halo Moon, winner of a NH Flat race at Towcester last December and second on his debut over timber at Ayr a month later, looks the pick of those with experience and Jason Maguire prefers him to stable companion Radio Nowhere. But we are just as interested in winning pointers FLEMENSON and Man In Black with preference for Jonjo O'Neill's charge, who was a very easy winner at Inch in March and looks to have plenty of pace. By The Boardwalk may be one to note for future reference but may need this after a lay-off and Ashes House is also returning from a lengthy break.
