In depth

Verdict

This looks the ideal opportunity for MASTER FONG to get off the mark leaving Casual Style and Tribal Rule fighting for minor prizes. A winner off a mark of 73 on the flat the selection has run well several times since being switched to life over timber. He lost no cask in defeat with his run behind a subsequent winner in a novice event last time and he sets the form standard here. Casual Style has a bit to find with the pick based on his runs on the level but he did show some promise on his only hurdles completion. He still has a bit to prove after falling last time but he was making progress and this top yard should get more out of him. Tribal Rule makes his jumping debut and despite not showing a great deal of promise on the flat he is with a good stable and a market watch is advised. Knottage Hill was well held in a bumper but may do better for having obstacles to jump so in a race where a few make appeal Master Fong looks to have strong claims.
