Verdict

Rawaabet's recent form has been questionable leading us to side with LAST PIONEER who should also get the better of Roisin's Prince. This will be only the selections third start of the year after missing 2008 but he has the rest well beaten when second over course and distance last time. He had the eventual winner at full stretch and is expected to go one better today. Rawaabet has been in poor form recently and is without a win on the level for over four years. This return to hurdles should see an improvement from him and if he can recapture some of the form he showed late last year then a finish just behind the selection isn't beyond him. Roisin's Prince is another inconsistent performer but he should be helped by this return to 2m and a sound surface. Improvement is expected and he should make the money. Toss The Caber is in some much improved form of late and poses a massive threat for the minor places. He's done well here in the past and is worth a look. What's Up Doc won a Brighton claimer when last seen, but things will be a lot tougher for the gelding here and he may struggle so we will stick to our guns and put Last Pioneer forward to score.
