Sonic Anthem, First Blue and Spud look the three to concentrate on in this novices hurdle and the vote is given to First Blue. The selection was a fair second in a bumper behind Regal Angle last time out. He looks sure to have been well schooled for this his hurdling debut and he looks a value bet in an open affair with his yard beginning to find its form. Sonic Anthem rates the main danger on his best but he is very exposed in the context of this race and he looks opposable on that basis. Spud won a bumper in good style when last seen, beating Silver Accord. He is another that is sure to have been well schooled but he is bred to be suited by a longer trip and is taken on with this in mind. Bedizen hails from a yard in form, is sure to have learnt from his debut effort so is worth a cautionary look in the market. Dante's Diamond could improve for the fitting of a first time tongue tie but for the winner we return to First Blue.
