Verdict

The horse that had bookies running scared three weeks ago, JEU DE ROSEAU, is back but getting 25-1 about him today will be a tall order. However, he is taken to fend off Richard The Third, Red Not Blue and Ring Bo Ree. Chris Grant's horse will go down in history for all the wrong reasons but there is no doubting he has ability. Earlier in his career he was behind the likes of Won In The Dark but has obviously had his problems. His latest victory was done in taking fashion after getting one of the rides of the year from today's jockey. He could still be ahead of the handicapper but huge improvement is unlikely as he was fully wound up to win the last day. Richard The Third has some decent form and should enjoy today's bigger field after being keen in his latest run. Red Not Blue won a moderate event 15 days ago but is still lightly raced and improvement is entirely possible. I like Ring Bo Ree but this will be tough off top weight. Carlton Scroop has been in decent form on the flat so is another to consider.
