      Verdict

Attest came good at Stratford in March but the four-year-old has more on his plate here. Ashoka won twice last month but will have to defy a further 11lb rise if he’s to complete his hat-trick and the yard also run I'll Be Your Clown, who makes his handicap debut. Spiritual Man has been getting closer but Destiny's Gold is returning from a break and Hill Fort seems to be going backwards. JAM SESSION gets a tentative vote as he’s been showing promise in novice events and it was good going when he won a bumper at Doncaster in 2015 and a maiden on the Flat last year.
