Verdict

Lost Horizon is marginally preferred to Cabal at this stage, while Dazzled is another to keep tabs on for future reference. Dazzled ought to be suited by the trip and, as her yard is just winding things up a couple of notches, the daughter of Starcraft is worthy of consideration if the market speaks positively about her. James Fanshawe is noted for a patient approach with animals of this type and she is very much one to keep tabs on whatever happens today. Cabal makes her turf debut and may well improve for the switch in surfaces. Being by crack sprinter Kyllachy, she wouldn't be the most obvious contender to be suited by a mile on pedigree, though. Therefore, Lost Horizon gets the benefit of the doubt on this occasion. The daughter of Elusive City has shown mixed form so far but the ground might have just been too soft for her when she disappointed last time out. She is better judged on her Newbury second to Silver Rock, who was subsequently tried in a Group 2 at Newmarket. Admittedly the form is yet to really work out but, as it stands, it is best evidence available and suggests that Lost Horizon is capable of winning at this level.
