Verdict

ETAAD was fancied for a much better maiden at Ascot in July but, having been held up, ran green and never got into contention. That experience won't have been lost on John Hills' colt and he can make amends here. Maraayill made a decent debut at Sandown in August and is another likely improver while Chatez was beaten less than a length over course and distance when a 50/1 shot in August and should make his presence felt again. Bilimbi and Characterise should be monitored in the betting but Passover disappointed at Kempton last month and Wickhambrook has already had plenty of chances. Classical Art is from an in-form yard but may need more time.
