Verdict

This looks a hugely competitive handicap with several of the 16 runners having claims including Bidable and Ours, who have been running well but are yet to confirm that they are completely at home on ground this testing. Ken's Girl will have no problems with the underfoot conditions having won at Windsor on soft ground last time but he is now 5lb higher than on that occasion. Any market support for Slugger O'Toole would be of interest, while Brian Meehan's Wild Rockette has claims if handling the ground. The vote though goes the way of Andrew Balding's SONG TO THE MOON, who showed her liking for soft ground when chasing home Madame Excelerate at Bath two starts ago and she can go one better today.
