      Verdict

AFFINITY was a memorable winner on handicap debut last time and with connections opting for this race instead of an engagement over the weekend he gets the call. Looking progressive Henry Cecil's runner won with more to spare than the margin suggests last time and with improvement still to come can go in again off a 2lb higher mark. Tobernea is chasing a hat-tick but only just got home last time so might now be vulnerable under this revised weight. Marcus Antonius also scored last time when capping a progressive run of results and he looked to have more in the tank so rates a big danger to the pick Affinity.
