Verdict

The last three winners of this have all carried at least 11st6lb so Dungeness' welter burden should be no barrier to success. The course and distance winner is likely to be positively ridden again and will take some catching. Voltchesko has only found one too good at Lingfield and Leicester in his last two starts while Good Of Luck has run on the all-weather since finishing third at Bangor. GRAND MARCH's run behind Josses Hill at Newbury in December gave notice there was more to come. He's had a break since but looks nicely treated and could be a bit of value against more exposed rivals.
