        Verdict

Thundering Home is better on the all-weather, as is Iguacu, but Lucy Barry steered Gems to a comfortable win at Folkestone last month, though Peter Hiatt's filly was easily brushed aside off her new mark behind Laverre over this C&D 15 days ago. Barbirolli was third at Brighton last time and Laura Pike again takes off 5lb but the one to beat may be WOOD FAIR, who may have only beaten one home on her return to action at Wolverhampton but wasn't beaten far and is sure to strip fitter today. Harry Bentley is good value for his claim and the filly is only 2lb higher than successful over this trip at Yarmouth in August.
