Verdict

Speed Society left previous form behind when scoring on his reappearance at Wolverhampton and is only 6lb higher here. He must have a decent chance of following up though Prim And Proper also arrives off the back of a recent victory, at Kempton, and should have no problems confirming that form with Picanight. GOLD CLASS looks the type to do better as a three-year-old and he can be forgiven a poor run on his handicap debut at Nottingham in October on account of the soft going. He'd shown promise at Thirsk and Beverley earlier. Hostile Fire may be best of the rest.
