    Verdict

Herod The Great was beaten only a head in an amateurs' race on his handicap debut while Arlecchino also ran well on his first start handicapping at Sandown and could also figure. It would be no surprise to see Markttag improve on his previous efforts in maiden races but INTIBA may be good enough on her return. The latter won at Kempton when last at the track over a year ago and the half-sister to top-class Group 1 winner Vengeance Of Rain will appreciate this longer trip. Significant Move could prove best of the remainder.
