Verdict

MARIE DE GUISE gets one last chance to impress. From the family of Golan and Tartan Bearer, the selection has not really gone on since a narrow debut win at Nottingham. She really should have fared better at Salisbury last time given her previous run behind Sea Of Heartbreak read well however with the drop in trip in her favour today she is given another chance. French recruit Prince Apollo needs a market check as he plummets down the handicap, Buddy Holly is fairly-handicapped but may want quicker ground, whilst Alpen Glen hasn't been with new connections for long and blinkers may spark a revival off a lifetime-low mark. Dolcetto rates more of a threat than all-weather specialist Mister New York, although both may have to play second (or third) fiddle to the in-form Ubi Ace when it comes to the list of dangers.
