Mcmurrough proved himself a smart chaser in the spring and reverts to hurdling on a 10lb lower mark. Notus De La Tour looked a very promising novice chaser two years ago and though he's been disappointing he's another on a much lower mark back over timber. Society Shares has had very little racing for his age and showed his liking for testing ground with a comfortable victory at Ffos Las for which he's been raised 7lb. Lord Protector reappeared after a break to land a Sandown handicap in taking style and he should go well, despite an 11lb rise, but SHIMLA DAWN looks the one to be on. Tim Walford's charge was always travelling easily when scoring at Market Rasen on his handicap debut and though the assessor has had his say with a 13lb hike in the weights it shouldn't prevent a follow-up.
