In depth

Verdict

L'Eminence Grise has had plenty of chances and lacks the scope of DURSEY SOUND, who justified strong support on his hurdling debut at Uttoxeter to beat the more experienced Forrester's Folly. A follow-up is on the cards here, despite the penalty. Inch Manor, Markem and Storm To Pass are graduates from the point-to-point circuit but may need more time while both Fourjacks and Masterful Act have been off the track for a long time. Wolf Shield won a Carlisle bumper in March but the market may be the best guide to what's expected here.
