It's interesting to see that David O'Meara has booked McCoy for winning chaser Loose Preformer, who is on the comeback trail. Winning pointer Indigo Rock may be improving while there is still plenty of time for Sedgefield third Optical High and the mare The Wicked Kipper. Halifax finally came good in a novices' handicap at Market Rasen last time and will make a bold bid to defy his penalty. He makes more appeal that Polarbrook, beaten in a seller at Worcester on his latest start, but we'll take a chance on CROOKED ARROW on his hurdling debut. Bred in the purple, Marjorie Fife has high hopes for the Galileo gelding who should improved markedly on a couple of bumper runs now he encounters better ground.
