In depth

Verdict

Dhaafer won a maiden hurdle at Warwick last season and was third in the Fred Winter at Cheltenham in March. He has always looked likely to stay this longer trip but has plenty of weight for a four-year-old, as does Harry Hunt. Wolf Moon is better over fences, while Tricky Tree and Sir Tamburlane return from a break. Richard Guest's pair Jawaab and Dzesmin could make their presence felt, however, while Lawgiver was second at Kelso earlier this month. But it's MOGHAAYER that gets the vote as he will enjoy the ground and the likely fast pace and will be all the better for a recent pipe-opener on the Flat.
