In depth

Verdict

Totally Couture showed real promise before getting off the mark in a Ballinrobe maiden in May but finds herself at the top of the weights on her handicap debut. Whodoyouthink hasn't won over hurdles for two years but invariably races in better class than this and he's gradually coming down to a fair mark. The Mooch put a moderate run at Clonmel behind him by reappearing to land a maiden over 2m4f here where he battled on well when challenged. Another Challenge enters the fray in fine shape having scored over 3m on heavy ground at Thurles in February. He had earlier beat a big field over this trip at Navan. GO PADDY GO has been given a break since completing a double in November and there's no reason why he shouldn't continue to go well in this kind of grade. Martin Burke was on board when he scored at Clonmel and his allowance can see his mount home again. Beneficial Spirit has been chasing and reverts to hurdles on a 17lb lower mark so must be respected along with Old Kilcash, who couldn't handle Grade 3 company on his latest start.
