Verdict

Winning form is in notably short supply though Fitzgutentyte has won around here over hurdles on a much softer surface. Ta Blazes ran her best race for some time at Downpatrick and she attempts to build upon that on her return to fences though we will seek to oppose her with BANNA BEACH. Seamus Neville's ten-year-old doesn't really have too many secrets from the handicapper but he has gone close at both Clonmel and Wexford off a similar mark when the going has been on the faster side. Stonesinmypocket has continued to drop down the weights in defeat and Christy Roche's seven-year-old is a full 7lb lower in the handicap than he was at this time last year, and Jody McGravey gets to claim a valuable 7lb from out of the saddle.
