Not the best of maidens to get proceedings under way but something has to win and it might as well be CELESTIAL FABLE. Tommy Stack's filly showed little in her two opening runs on soft going but did much better on quicker ground at Killarney when close behind Blackstone and won't need to improve much to take this. She holds Zanka on that run and though Empress Toorah has shown glimpses of ability she could find the ground too fast while Memorable was beaten a long way at Navan so takes a drop in trip. Saldanha Bay stayed on at one pace behind Shell House at Naas but still looks the main threat though the newcomer Dandysteps wouldn't need to be a world-beater to make a winning start.
