Verdict

Paul Henderson's Irish import Martin Cash takes the eye following an easy course win in March, from which he looked sure to progress. However, he's not been so sharp the last twice and it may just be that soft ground is what he needs. He won't get that here but might be worth a small saver. Looks Like Slim finds winning tough while Noble Friend is thrust into handicap company for this chasing bow. Speed Steed has been off since last summer so is best watched while Quadriller was never a threat on chasing debut last time but is expected to come on for the run. A speculative choice is TRAIN OF THOUGHT, a fair sort on the level in Ireland for Dermot Weld. He's shown little on two chasing starts for his new yard but could be an improver on this better ground.
