Verdict

After seven attempts, Earth Planet is still chasing his first win over the larger obstacles and is up against some decent novices here. Dover's Hill won at Exeter on his reappearance and has been taking on better opposition since. He looks a better bet than Sheshali, well beaten at Taunton four weeks ago. Mary Hambro's gelding may find this longer distance stretching his stamina, however, whereas SILVER KATE will stay every yard of the trip. David Richards' mare showed tremendous tenacity to get the better of Voramar Two at Chepstow two outings ago and was too tough for the well-regarded Cannington Brook and Alfie Sherrin over 3m2f at Warwick last time. Her jumping is improving with experience and she should be hard to beat today.
