This may be an insufficient test of stamina for Classic Clover but Oracle Des Mottes has won over this C&D, albeit more than two years ago. Touch Of Flame didn't find much off the bridle at Didmarton last weekend but Master John could do better now dropped in distance and Polly Gundry could go close aboard Ryeman, who has been keeping better company in the main. But the one to beat is probably Sally Alner's JAYNE'S CRUSADER, who won twice between the flags both sides of a decent run in a competitive hunter chase here last month and is open to improvement under Rules.
