Verdict

Charmatic is taken to overcome topweight and beat the likes of Hill Queen and Pairumani Princess. Charmatic is real dual-purpose performer, equally at home on the Flat and over jumps, with all ground coming alike. Since returning to the level, Andy Turnell's mare has in the main been in good form, and judged on another sterling effort when second at Newbury six-days ago, she should go very close here. Hill Queen was quite useful when trained in Italy, and can improve on what she showed on her first run for Luca Cumani at Lingfield, while Pairumani Princess also returned to the fray on the Polytrack, but struggled from some way out, and does not make quite as much appeal. Proposal has to prove herself on the ground, but her sire handled cut, so there is some hope, but we nominate Charmatic as the likely winner.
