        Verdict

Jeremy Noseda saddled the winner of this in 2009 and his NOCTURN can take the honours this evening. Still very green when fourth at Newbury in May, he still stepped up markedly on a first run at Newmarket and should be much more the finished article now. The filly Norlander is interesting after a comeback fourth at Salisbury while there should be more to come from Exceedexpectations after a debut third at Folkestone. Fucheon Vale was third at Warwick on her latest start but Dark Don may be more of a danger as the form of his fifth at Kempton in May has worked out well and he's sure to strip fitter now.
