Verdict

King Supreme has been put up 6lbs by the handicapper for his win at Brighton last month and Richard Hannon's colt may struggle to follow up off his new mark in a race taken to go to RUSSIAN EPIC, who gets the vote ahead of Look To This Day. Roger Charlton's filly disappointed when last seen at Wolverhampton but should do better back on turf off a fair mark. Dakiyah has not been seen for 11 months since winning at Goodwood and has yet to prove that he stays this far, while Gary Moore's Shimoni seems to be in the grip of the handicapper for his reappearance. David Simcock's Theocritus was beaten along way at Epsom on his return and looks best watched in a race taken to go to Russian Epic. Andrew Turnell's gelding has not raced on the flat since September but comes here fit from some decent efforts over hurdles and he looks worth siding with on his return to the level under Richard Hughes.
