In depth

Verdict

Choral Festival can never be ignored here, as she showed a month ago. However, this trip looks much too short for her nowadays and we're keen to give another chance to KOHLAAN. Roger Varian's gelding looked good when wrapping up a hat-trick at Doncaster two runs ago and got caught out in a tactical affair at Salisbury last time. The Willie Muir pair, Cruiser and Jack Who's He, would both have claims on their best form and Juvenal should strip fitter for his run at Goodwood. African Oil won at Bath last month but this looks tougher.
