Verdict

Fire Jet produced significant improvement to land a 1m2f Newmarket contest on her handicap bow and looks on an agreeable mark but hasn't encountered ground with cut so any rainfall will make her chance harder to predict. Neither Pastoral Music nor Chelsea's Boy look progressive on recent evidence and Mr Fickle and All My Love are where the handicapper wants them. Both are respected however in such an ordinary contest but PERCY'S ROMANCE could be another one for Sir Michael Stoute who is enjoying a splendid campaign. Not a stable star, the overall profile he brings to the table, especially his runner-up effort behind Baydar on his penultimate start, looks good enough for him to land a first career success here.
