Ivanhoe's close-up third at Chepstow last time is probably the best piece of form here and that, at least, shows he'll handle the ground, though Kempton fourth Ravens Nest probably has more scope. But they don't set a particularly high standard and it would be no surprise if one of the newcomers came out on top in this. Andrew Balding runs the Montjeu colt Prairie Ranger and he's worth noting for market support but Ralph Beckett may hold the key as he saddles both Hello Sailor and SIZZLER. The former may need a bit further and jockey bookings suggest the latter may prove best today. He's a full brother to the very useful Gitano Hernando and can make a winning debut.
