In depth

Verdict

Hoh Mike is preferred to Karayel. Michael Bell's representative made an eyecatching debut behind the well-touted Elhamri at Windsor and while finishing second, the resolution shown after initial greenness showed that there was plenty more to come in the future. Richard Hughes suggested that Karayel might be a better horse for some cut in the ground after landing a Folkestone prize on good-to-firm. If the rain stays away - it has to be a worry. No Worries Yet won a seller on debut - there is probably an amount of flattery in the close-up second last time but she is proven at this circuit. Scented Present finished fourth in behind. Capannina hails from the in-from Jeremy Noseda yard. Raising 90 000 guineas at the sale, she has to be respected although the breeding indicates that she could be better with a bit more age and a longer trip. Ella Y Rossa was cheaper than most but is watched from a yard who have had particular success with their juveniles. Hoh Mike went into the notebook last time and looks the one to be with on this occasion.
