Verdict

ATAMAN appeared to find the 1m4f beyond him when odds-on at Wolverhampton last time but had gone close over track and trip on his debut. He is just preferred to Darebin, beaten only a nose at Lingfield on his latest start and Liberality, third on the all-weather earlier this month. Yours Truly finished third of four over a mile at Bath recently but Smartie Artie failed to show much improvement when only fifth at Ayr last time. Desdichado cost 150,000 euros, is related to a couple of winners and may prove best of the newcomers.
