In depth

Verdict

A very competitive handicap and we have narrowed it down to Cellarmaster, Golden Empire and Blaze Of Colour, with the last named just being preferred. Sir Michael Stoute's filly is superbly bred and although her maiden form is nothing to write home about, we may see a different animal now she is handicapped. Cellarmaster progressed nicely in three outings last season and hails from a stable hitting top form. Golden Empire is not the most straight forward horse but did nothing wrong when landing a Hamilton maiden last time and looks set to play a big part again. Recent winner Planters Punch could also figure prominently but Blaze Of Colour looks very fairly treated and is taken to land the spoils.
