Verdict

TURNPIKE TRIP can break his maiden at the sixth time of asking dropping to this 1m2f trip for the first time since finishing fourth on debut in January. The selection has finished well held in handicaps the last twice but this return to maiden company can see him defeat the filly Lewinsky who ran well on her debut before disappointing last time. The unraced Ennjaaz represents a leading stable here and is taken to claim third ahead of Fearsome who finished one place in front of the selection back in January.
