A competitive field for a modest prize. Quids In and The Detainee, both fit from a campaign hurdling, make some appeal. Pretty Jewel made a winning reappearance at Doncaster but was well beaten in this last year when 3lb lower. Amuletum has been lightly raced and has been placed twice at Newcastle this year, though is having her first run on Turf. Iconic Belle is 0-15 and was beaten almost five lengths when behind GOLCONDA PRINCE (NAP) at Doncaster last month. Seb Woods is in the saddle again on Richard Fahey’s top weight and takes off a valuable 7lb – that first victory will have boosted his mount’s confidence. Betsalottie won here in October but is 10lb higher and probably best at Lingfield.
