In depth

Verdict

Admirable Art had looked on the upgrade before a disappointing run when well backed at Chepstow and that didn't appear to be his true form. He's expected to do better but SOARING SPIRITS earns the vote as though he's shown his best form on Polytrack he's been handed a chance by the assessor who has dropped him enough to get into this 0-70 handicap. Blackball was raised 8lb for his Yarmouth victory and never got going at Redcar subsequently while the normally consistent The Scuttler finished last at Chepstow after his Pontefract success.
