Bold Ring did well to follow-up under a 6lb penalty at Lingfield last week as she'd only been raised 3lb for her earlier win. She should be thereabouts again in her current form, but Berbice was ending a two year losing streak when scoring over C&D last time and it's harder to see him going in again despite Julie Burke's claim negating a 2lb rise. He beat Michael's Nook by a nose last time and the latter has since finished a couple of lengths behind SILVER WIND over track and trip. Alan McCabe's charge gets the vote here on that form with the remainder hard to fancy.
